Is re-piping the same as replacing drains?
No. A water-supply re-pipe addresses piping that delivers water to fixtures. Drain work concerns piping that carries wastewater away. We clarify which system needs attention.
Can you help if my insurer asks for plumbing updates?
Some homeowners are required to replace aging pipes to meet their insurer’s underwriting requirements. If you receive a plumbing-related notice, share the written requirements and deadlines with P.I.P.S. so we can discuss a re-piping scope that addresses the requested work. Confirm required materials, inspections and completion documents with your insurer or agent. Insurance approval, coverage and policy renewal remain the insurer’s decision; completing plumbing work does not guarantee any of these outcomes.
